Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is it necessary to call 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
A: Doing so allows me to offer the appointment to another client. We only hold that appointment time for you and therefore cannot give it to someone else.
Q: Do You prescribe medicine?
A: No. My role as your therapist is to provide you with the counseling, but will work closely with your physician to coordinate your care.
Q: Will I need to be in counseling forever?
A: No. Although everyone’s situation is different, a plan of care will be custom tailored to your needs to meet your specific goals for therapy.
Q: Is Grief Counseling the only counseling that is offered?
A: Actually, no. I am a trained Family Therapist and I am equipped to provide Individual, Family and Group Counseling. I treat individuals dealing with depression, anxiety and various other disorders.
Q: Can Hypnotherapy help my situation?
A: Depends on your current situation, Hypnosis can be helpful, but it is not "magical approach" to treatment. It is a tool that we can use in addition to traditional therapy.
